Christmas - Goodnews⁩!

Travelling back to the time of creation,

When man was created,

And God came down in the cool of the day,

To spend time with man.

Oh! What joy! What partnership! What intimacy!

Oh!? Will it last? Will this continue to be?

Will this be our forever after?

Here comes the serpent;

There goes Eve's listening ears,

Oh, Eve, if you break the hedge, the serpent will bite!

Where's Adam?

Oh, here he comes to save...No!

He fell with her...sadly.

That which was forbidden,

The only fruit forbidden,

The only law given,

Has now been broken.

Adam! Adam! Where are you?

Here goes the couple running and hiding in the bush.

Oh, what tragedy!

That intimacy has been cut short by disobedience.

Now they are being sent away from the presence,

NO MORE! NEVER AGAIN! NO MORE!

Will God come down to spend time with man?

A rare friendship has ended.

So...I thought.

Can there be a light at the end of the tunnel?

Can there be a source, a way, a means to go back to fellowship?

To intimate with the one who created us.

That so unique that none can comprehend.

Let's see to the end, if this will be permanent.

Times and times have flown,

And all we are seeing is man reaching out to God through a process,

Through a means, through prophets, through priests.

But that intimacy isn't there yet.

That goodness hasn't reached us yet.

Angels visiting, prophecies being dropped.

When do we get to part we hunger for?

When will we receive the good news we await?

All prophesying of the soon-to-be-born king,

Our ticket to intimacy,

The way to the Father,

Yet seems so further.

"Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee!"

Here comes an angel...again.

Will this be the good news we have been waiting for?

"You will conceive and bear a son, Jesus, the Son of the Most High"

Now this is the news we have been waiting for!

Oh, woman, you are really blessed amongst women.

You are really blessed to bear the fruit of the Most High.

"How can this thing be?..."

She said,

"..seeing that I know no man?"

Mr. Angel, it seems like you got the wrong woman.

How can a virgin conceive and bear a child?

And here we are talking about the son of God.

There goes our hopes, our expectations, our joy.

Mr. Angel, this can't be it!

Check your tracker again, please!

"The Holy Spirit shall overshadow you, and you'll conceive and bear the child of God, and you shall call Him, Jesus"

Now that's a change of story!

The seed of the Holy Spirit!

Now there was a census, Joseph and Mary had to travel to Bethlehem.

The inns are filled, and no space for the lady to lay her head.

Here comes labor!?

Oh, Joseph, what can we do?

Oh! He found an inn....no, that's a manger!

But how can the son of God be born in a manger?

Buy here comes the child!

See Him wrapped in a swaddling cloth.

The stars shining so bright,

The angels rejoicing,

The shepherds coming,

The wise men visiting.

This is really good news.

And today, we live to celebrate the birth of the King.

We're back to that which was from the beginning but in a better way.

We have direct access to the Father through the Son by the Holy Spirit.

Christmas is a time when we gather as one,

As a family, as friends, to celebrate the GOOD NEWS.

Now we sing hymns, rejoicing in carols, dining together all for Christ the King.
