Too Late to Quit

 

The tension is rising,

Expectations are mounting,

Stress is pervasive,

And my motivation is waning,

But it's too late to give up.

Every part of me wants to surrender,

But when I consider those I aim to impress,

It appears, it's too quit.

Every morning, the desire to give up intensifies,

The routines, the structures, the demands,

And just...to unwind.

But the inner voice insists, "It's too late to give up."

What do you mean, "It's too late to give up?"

I haven't made much progress,

I am still seeking my purpose,

"That's far enough, my dear.

You are already on the journey.

That's sufficient to declare,

It's Too Late To Quit."

Fully aware that God has a predetermined plan for me,

With family, mentors, and friends' expectations upon me,

And above all, the need to make a mark on this world,

I'll gaze into the mirror daily and affirm to myself,

"No matter how daunting or challenging it may seem,

Trust in God, work towards the mark,

And remember, It's Too Late To Quit!

You're predestined FOR EXCELLENCE!"
